“There is one thing the photograph must contain, the humanity of the moment. This kind of photography is realism. But realism is not enough - there has to be vision, and the two together can make a good photograph.” — Robert Frank
Bulgarian-born, I currently live, work and study in Northwest Florida, a.k.a. the upside of Florida.
My interest in photography began in 2005 upon relocating to the United States; however, I didn't pursue it professionally until I left my job as a Video Editor nearly a decade later.
At present, I am enrolled in the Photographic Technology Program at Pensacola State College.
Researching the history of the medium along with the code of ethics of photojournalism has had a significant impact on my photographic approach.
The work of the 20th-century master photographers remains my primary source of inspiration. I strive to maintain the integrity of the moment while creating authentic, unaltered images of life and relationships.
My camera is always with me, allowing me to observe and record the world at any given time.
